2022-2026: The University of York – BSc Interactive Media - expected outcome 2:1
This degree involves learning how to understand and create interactive media software, content and products for a variety of platforms and uses including: mobile apps and responsive websites, games and virtual environments, virtual reality, social media, augmented reality, interactive stories, digital art installations, 3D modelling, immersive productions, esports production.
My undergraduate dissertation titled ‘Why is the Digital World Still Inaccessible?’ attained a 1st class result.
Technical Skills:
Programming skills in Java, Javascript, Python, C, Kotlin and markup languages such as HTML and CSS
Experience of Windows operating systems
Fluency in Microsoft Office and Adobe products
Leadership and teamwork skills including project management, presenting and collaborative design
Experience with both high-fidelity and low-fidelity prototyping including proficiency in a variety of softwares including AdobeXD, Justinmind and Adalo
Familiarity with Motion Design through the use of Premiere Pro and Unity
Competence in 3D modelling using the Blender software and AutoCAD
Experience in client management
Hands on experience teaching coding in an educational environment
